How to dress in an Arabic Wedding

Hello loves,

How was your Christmas celebrations? Where did you spend your day and with who? Well, I spent mine with people close to my heart at a friend’s house. We had a house a party and the best part of the day was exchanging gifts. In the shimmery spirit, this post is about just that.

This look was inspired by an Arabic wedding I was invited to by my colleague. I was a bit confused on what to wear given that I had never attended one before. The garment had to be long and conservative~ those were the two aspects that guided me during shopping. Shimmer is a definite detail for Arabic weddings as well.

The rose gold color with metallic finish and the perfect tea-length details closed the deal for me. The A-line silhouette also accentuated my waist line. I figured it wouldn’t be so hard to find a matching top. For the mere reason I don’t own shinny clothes, I had to go all out and pair it with a shiny top. Why not? I love the dramatic sleeves and the color complimented the rose gold skirt so well. The cleavage had a perfect deep.

I paired the whole look with gold platform tip toe heels. There isn’t much walking in an Arabic wedding and so the height of the heels did not matter. The minimal accessories made the look classy and elegant.

Quick Tip,

There’s no such rule as you can’t match gold with rose gold. Always experiment with colors.
