Fringe your way to the dance floor Ft Mbaire Wangui

Fringe originated as a way of preventing a cut piece of fabric from unraveling when a hemming was not used.

Also, from its dramatic nature, can be a great company to dance floor when you swirl your hips, hands or whatever part of the garment the fringe is. Can you be classy, chic, sophisticated, playful or fashion forward in fringe? Absolutely!! Its amazing how designers can place fringe in any part of the product. From clothes to shoes, bags to accessories.

You may draw your inspiration from two looks we put together for you. When fringe comes to my mind, I instantly think of rock and roll! I styled this leather skirt with a GUESS tshirt. To personalize the look, I added this lazer cut camel cover up. This look would not be complete without this black convertible handbag, and the black fringe mules. I love how Mbaire Wangui and I incorporated hats on the same look.

In all honesty, I would rock this look and feel modish and dapper. She brilliantly layered the long top (which can easily turn into a short casual dress) with this statement fringe jacket. What better way to complete the look than with these practical pair of boots and sunglasses?

Enjoy the looks, and see you tomorrow for more trend inspiration.
